Alexa: how do I set the on time?

I can turn on and off zones but, can't see how to specify on time.

  If using Alexa directly and not though cloud with IFTTT there is no easy way to specify time. Zones/Programs are behaving like a switch with only turn off/on commands. 

  The zones default to 5 minutes run time, this default could be modified by an API call but there is no simple Alexa command to specify time.

  I can give you more details if you wish to modify this default  zone manual timer that is read by Alexa.

  Another solution would be to make a program, set zone durations, (and set program as inactive so it won't run automatically) and run that program though Alexa.

  Other solution (which needs internet access) would be to setup a recipe on IFTTT as detailed here: https://support.rainmachine.com/hc/en-us/articles/228652548-Alexa-Echo-through-IFTTT

  On this recipe you can specify how many seconds to run.
