0.23 inch of rain and Rain Machine doesn't know about it!
Last night we got 0.23-in. of rain and my watering schedule isn't changed. Maybe I've done something wrong. The rain fall was between about 1 and 4 am. Sunny this morning and no other rain in weeks.
Wunderground history for today
Are my settings wrong?

I don't see a "useCustomStation" check place in the settings. But the
Settings>Weather page [which I labeled "Weather Services set up page" in my original posting] shows "Success" and "Enabled" on WU station and the RM stations setting page link shows customStationName of KCAREDON11 which is the WU station about two blocks away.Today is the day after the 0.23-in of rain day. Here's the RM opening page which doesn't seem to reflect the rain. I shouldn't think that any water would be called for today and not much tomorrow. The red i indicates that I put in a manual snooze (because of the rain), which I turned off before taking this screen shot.

Yes, but if *useCustomStation* is not checked it won't use your selected station. I'm attaching a screenshot showing this setting. This configuration through Web UI is a little awkward, at this moment, as the configuration window is automatically generated from weather service fields. Mobile apps have a friendlier UI for this. We will revamp the Web UI when we finish the new Wunderground service features.

I edited my OP to show my set-up page (I missed the image insert). Does this cover it? I'm reluctant to mess with the setting if I don't have to—hard to know what's going to get messed up. It sure looks to me that customStation is activated. It seems what you're showing is the setting of the station and not the confirmation.

OK, that's what my looks like. This is how it opened, AFAIK I haven't changed it since months ago when I initially set it up. I guess I wasn't looking carefully enough before; thanks for your patience. PS: the name of the station shouldn't be so far from the check to use that station. It should be immediately adjacent.
Now to get back to the original question here's the rain. How should have RM responded?
-
Yes, but it will respond after 24h that the rain registered, reducing or increasing the next run times of programs if there is a difference between forecasted QPF and observed RAIN.
That's because the observed rain report comes after 24h since it has been observed when accessing WUnderground with API and not directly through their the web page.
From your last screenshot I see that RM registered the observed rain ok.
P.S. Please remove the screenshot as it has your API key (or remove the API key)
