    Hi, Rick
To suspend a zone or a program all you have to do is to edit their properties and set OFF the "Zone is Active" option for the zone and select "Deactivate" option for a program.

The weather data is still fetched for the zones, even if they are inactive and also when a program will start again after a period of inactivity all weather data will be fetched at the program start time and watering times will be adjusted accordingly, but it is very important that the "Weather-Adaptive Watering" option to be enabled for the program.

Your particular situation sounds like an issue with your weather services enabled on RainMachine device.
Can you tell us what weather services are you using?

    Thank you, Rick

I’m using NOAA and WU. The WU site I am using is my own weather station.weather-adaptive is set on all zones.

Also — I am referring to the info posted here by Brandon stating that when the unit comes out of a snooze, it assumes the soil is dry: https://support.rainmachine.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115007425307/comments/115004891107?mobile_site=true

    Hi, Rick
Yes, Brandon was right, but coming up from a snooze and starting a program should fetch the latest weather data info available from the weather services at the program start time.
Maybe this is your case - when the program started after the snooze time the weather data was inaccurate.
You can search in the weather data history for your location if that rain was not predicted. Remember that WUnderground weather data is not a real-time information for the RainMachine algorithm, all data fetched today it will count for the next day of watering. Only a Rain Sensor will stop the RainMachine activities if it senses the rain.

Also, Weather-Adaptive Watering set for all zones is not the same of having the program Weather-Adaptive Watering ON, because if this program setting it's OFF, will skip all zones weather data and will water 100%. It's important that this setting to be ON for the program, too, to take all zones weather info into consideration when the program will start.

    Thank you
