No weather updates

    Hi, Robby
    We're sorry to hear about your issue.
    First of all - it would help to turn ON the "Weather Update" mobile push notification on your phone and this way you will know when the weather data will not update on your RainMachine device because when this happens you will not get the notification.

    We would need for you to upload the RainMachine diagnostics on our servers so our developers have a look into this issue.
    Go to: Settings - About - scroll all the way down and tap on the Send Diagnostics button. You can do that accessing the Mini-8 with the desktop browser and going to Settings - About - Send Diagnostics button.

    A quick fix for this is to "Reset to Default" your Mini-8: Settings - System Settings - Reset to Default
    But first, please make sure you have a backup of your Zones, Programs, and Restrictions settings saved on the mobile phone. Open RainMachine mobile app and go to Settings - System Settings - Restore from Backup and see the date of your last backup. That will be the date when you changed something in the Zones, Programs or Restrictions settings and automatically created a backup. After "Reset to Default" will finish you have to set up the Mini-8 again: name, wi-fi, location, weather services, remote access account and password. After that, you can restore from the backup and bring back all your previous settings for Zones, Programs, and Restrictions.

    Hi,

     

    Could you please try to upload the diagnostics and tell us your MAC address ? The quickest way to solve this would be to do a Reset to Defaults.

    Thanks for your quick reply. My rainmachine did yesterday evening for the first time after 9 days a weather update, a short time after I posted here.

    Thanks for the hint with the push notification, Since yesterday evening it updated again another two times. Perhaps it has to do with the reboot I made yesterday morning. 

    Anyway I think you would like to have a look at the diagnostics to find out why there was no update for 9 days. I just uploaded them to your server. Hope this helps you! Keep up the great work, thank you.
