Sprinklers on in the rain?

We got some rain on Saturday, we got more rain yesterday, sprinkling this morning with rain showing up in the forecast for today. So I was surprised to see my sprinklers on. I thought maybe it just wasn't raining enough so the sprinklers were going to come on for some supplemental watering, but when I look at the logs, it say 101% for today.

 

I'm very new to this, so I might be misunderstanding or have set things up horribly wrong, but watering 101% in the midst of a few days of precipitation seems wrong. Can anyone offer any sort of explanation?
