Hunter Hydrawise flow sensor - reporting 80%

I’ve had my RainMachine pro 16 for about a year. I’ve just had a Hunter Hydrawise HC flow meter installed by a 3rd party. When comparing the dials on the flow meter to the values reported in the Rainmachine app- I’m finding that the app is consistently reporting on 80% of what the dials show. Multiple tests show exactly 80% of actual. Flow Meter is designed to send one pulse per gallon. Any thoughts on what is going on here?

  Update: flow meter model number is HC-100-FLOW-B

  It would be nice to debug this and understand if the flow meter is sending pulses at an improper rate or not.

  Update: resolved.

  I worked with support on this. For some reason even though Hunter should be reporting 1 click/gallon- it needed to be set to 1.2 clicks/gallon in my case.

  Using the iOS app, decimal values cannot be entered. The web interface however allowed for this input.

  I’m now reporting +/- 5% in Rainmachine as compared to the flow meter dials.
