Contuinuos flapping between "rain" and "no rain" state

Hi

I do have a RM mini-8 wired to a  Rainclik sensor from Hunter  and last night it rained for the first time since installation.

It correctly detected the rain but, it is heavily changing between detection states.

Since the rain stopped RM app sends an iOS notification "Rain No Longer Detected", immediately followed by a message "Rain detected". This schema repeats itself every few minutes - so I now have more then 100 of this messages. I guess it will stop, when rainclik is completely dries out.

What's going on here and how to fix this? Is the Rainclik defect or is that a software thing?

BTW: Rainclik sensor is "normally closed" and I am on version 4.0.927.

  One more question regarding this:

  Let's say this is related to Rainclik: Do you have a recommendation for a wired rain detector available in Europe?

  Hi Thorsten,

  From my knowledge most of these sensors have a way to delay the dry time.

  For example RainClik instructions: https://www.hunterindustries.com/support/rain-clik-adjusting-sensor-dry-out-time 

  And for Rain Bird: http://www.rainbird.com/sites/default/files/media/documents/2017-06/man_RSD.pdf

  Maybe you can try these settings before getting a new one.
