Hunter Solar Sync rain sensor

I have a pro 8 and I have tried to connect a hunter solar sync using the 2 wires on the receiver and all I get is a blinking red light on the receiver  Any suggestions?  This rain sensor was sent to me by hunter when my wireless hunter clik sensor stopped working.

  Would love to know this too -- I was not able to get my solar sync to work with RM.

  That is because those sensors or not a NC or NO type rain sensor.

  "Note: New Hunter controllers listed as Solar Sync compatible do not require the Solar Sync module, and use the sensor-only models."

   

  That sensor has more than one sensor function and reports them individually.  As such, it does not operate in the NC or NO methods and can only be used with a compatible Hunter system.  If it was just a simple NC or NO, then the module wouldn't be required for older Hunter systems.
