Push notifications to IP service
I have searched to see if this topic has been addressed elsewhere and found nothing. So, please excuse this post if this has been covered somewhere else (and, hopefully, redirect me).
I would like to have the RainMachine send notifications to an arbitrary IP listener on any change in on/off state for a zone. Looking at the SDK, and having poked around a bit in the internals, this seems possible. However, before I started any coding I though I'd see if there was some official way to do this, or if another user had implemented something like this or if someone had any suggestions or hints as to how to add this function.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response. However, I was not looking for some means outside of the API, rather I wanted to know how to best use the API. Since the RESTFul API does not support setting events or notifications, I looked into the official RainMachine SDK, which is described here. The SDK README states, in part...
RainMachine SDK allows developers to extend the functionality of RainMachine by creating custom pieces of code that will run directly on device itself along with the existing RainMachine software. While RainMachine API allows developer to control the device through a standard set of REST calls the SDK can be used to provide new functionality.
I was hoping someone might have already done something like what I am looking for, or could at least point me in some direction as the best place to add the code.
