Custom w/ Weather adapt start point?

I believe it is the case that if I set a zone to "custom" and "weather adaptive", it will adjust watering time based on things such as:  Length of day, amount of sun, temperature, rain, humidity, wind, etc.

1) So, I assume it will, in general, water more as the days get longer, right?

2) But, if I set the custom time to, say, 20 minutes, in April, will it basically start at 20 mins (in April), and then build through the summer?   Or will it use 20 minutes as what should be expected in the middle of summer?  I just don't know, here in March/April, what I should be putting in for a custom time that is really a summer time typical target.

  1. Sun radiation is taking into consideration. So the more intense and longer the more evapo-transpiration will transpire.

   

  2. Make sure you are setting summer valves, that way it can adjust down from that. We expect to add our 100% watering times for a nice hot summer day.
