We recommend our latest product, the RainMachine Pro-8 or Pro-16: https://www.rainmachine.com/products/rainmachine-pro.html
Both will be back in stock at the beginning of July.

Ecowitt (if outside the US) or Ambient Weather (inside the US) make excellent stations in your price range.

I am using an Ecowitt setup and it works a treat. Have it feeding my WeeWX install and that provides the local weather to my Mini-8

I have an Ambient Weather WS-2902B that I bought for $170. Like it so far. Tied in to Weather underground but would like native support for Ambient Weather.

I was looking at this one or the Ambient Weather WS-2000.  It is $100 more but has some upgrades.  I don't know if the cost difference is worth it though.  Without having them side by side, I would not know what would be better.

The difference is the 2000 can display more sensors if you wish to have them.
It also is a better looking display.

I just have to determine if it is worth the extra $100?  I also see the 1201P they also sell.  Not sure about that one though.

I looked at the 2000, but didn’t want to spend the extra money at the moment. Both use the same outside sensor unit so I can always upgrade the display later. Since this is my first station, I wanted to minimize my expense in case it didn’t work out as I planned.
