Control a zone in relation to the area temperature?
Hello,
I own a RainMachine Touch HD-12.
I would like to know if there is a way to control a specific zone depending on the temperature in my area, and outside of registered programs.
An example:
If the temperature exceeds 32 degrees in my area (through OpenWeatherMap or WUnderground service), I would like that a specific zone starts at the beginning of the evening, during 15 minutes.
Is it possible to specify this rule?
Thanks,
Arnaud

Should be possible with IFTTT but not sure if you could actually schedule it at the beginning of the evening but maybe IFTTT offers some scheduling options.

Hi Nicholas,
First of all, thanks for your answer.
I think a very good solution for my need was this available Python script:
But the WUnderground API has moved to the Weather.com API (both owned by IBM) and the Python script has not been updated.
Is it possible to have a 'weather-rules.py' script adapted to the Weather.com API (instead of WUnderground API)?
I try my luck ;-)
Thanks,
Arnaud
