Manually start a program for the day
I found several posts going somewhat in the same direction but so far I found no clear answer.
I currently have my lawn watered every second day a 7:00 in the morning. In the past I ran the programs at night/before sunrise, but since I installed a PV system I want to wait until enough energy is produced to run the well pump without having to pay for electricity. (around 600W + base load)
Several times now I had the situation that I was having breakfast and saw the the PV output was already high enough and wanted to start the program earlier.
So far I'm missing an option to manually start the program with the calculated duration, as if it would have been started automatically.
If I start the program manually it just runs with the default length. My scheduled program is then started afterwards with the actual calculated runtime.
Can this please be included in a future release to just trigger the calculated program manually?
I found this old post: https://support.rainmachine.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360008020934-Does-Manual-Watering-Alter-Upcoming-Programs where it was mentioned that this might be coming soon.
Any news?
Side note: Is there an easy way to achieve this via the API? If I snooze the machine until the PV ouput is there. But then it just does not water at all.
