I'm overwatering my drip-lines. How to reduce?

Hi,

I've found that the RainMachine is watering my flowerbeds for too long. The only thing I could think of to try to make the system adjust is to change the flow, but doing so doesn't seem to change the amount of time the controller waters those zones. 

What's the right way to leave automation in place but reduce watering for a given zone based on observation of moisture levels?

  Are you using EPA recommended times ? These might not apply to all installation, but you could set your own times and system will work just the same. The times that you set are understood by RainMachine on how much to water during a regular summer day and this will still get adjusted with weather.

  If you go to the programs setting and click on desired program that runs that zone you want to adjust there you can adjust watering time

  Thanks @RainMachine Nicholas--that's what I needed to know. I'm pretty sure I achieve the same thing by increasing the flow rate (as a customer sprinkler type) until the runtime was about right.
