RainMachine Mini-8

To connect your RainMachine Mini-8 to Wi-Fi, you can follow these general steps:

1. Power On the RainMachine: Plug in your RainMachine Mini-8 and ensure it is powered on.
2. Press RESET button for 5-6 seconds: When the RESET button is released a short beep sound will be heard. Doing that, the Wi-Fi settings and admin password will be reset.
3. Letter "A" will show on display: After reboot, the letter "A" will be shown on the digit display. That means that the Mini-8 device Setup Access Point is open and accessible.
   
4. Connect to Mini-8 Setup AP network: On your phone/tablet go to "Settings - (Connectivity) Wi-Fi" and look for the "RainMachine-XXXXXX" Mini-8 Setup AP network and connect to it. It has no password and there is no internet connection available. It is recommended to disable the Mobile Data (4G/5G) of your phone/tablet just for the Mini-8 setup process.
5. Open RainMachine mobile app: Once the phone/tablet is connected to the "RainMachine-XXXXXX" Setup AP network, open the RainMachine mobile app (iOS or Android) and wait for the RainMachine Mini-8 to be listed on DEVICES screen. It should have the "setup" label next to its name. Tap on it and continue setup.
6. Set the new admin password: When asked to enter the "New Password", enter it twice and leave the "Old Password" blank, it was reset at Step #2.
7. Connect Mini-8 to local Wi-Fi network: Next, a list of Wi-Fi network available at the RainMachine Mini-8 location will be listed. Look for your local Wi-Fi network name and select it. Enter the local Wi-Fi network password (if any) and then wait for the RainMachine Mini-8 and the phone/tablet to connect both to the local Wi-Fi network.
8. Done: If successful, the RainMachine Mini-8 Setup AP network will close and the Mini-8 device will be connected to your local Wi-Fi network and will be accessible by the phone/tablet connected to the same local Wi-Fi network using the RainMachine mobile app.

RainMachine Pro-8/16

To connect your RainMachine Pro-8/16 to Wi-Fi, you can follow these general steps:

1. Power On the RainMachine: Plug in your RainMachine Pro-8/16 and ensure it is powered on.
2. RESET Wi-Fi Settings: On the Pro-8/16 touch screen tap and select "Settings - Advanced - Network - upper right settings wheel icon - Settings - Change - Reset"
   
3. Connect to Pro-8/16 Setup AP network: On your phone/tablet go to "Settings - (Connectivity) Wi-Fi" and look for the "RainMachine-XXXXXX" Pro-8/16 Setup AP network and connect to it. It has no password and there is no internet connection available. It is recommended to disable the Mobile Data (4G/5G) of your phone/tablet just for the Mini-8 setup process.
4. Open RainMachine mobile app: Once the phone/tablet is connected to the "RainMachine-XXXXXX" Setup AP network, open the RainMachine mobile app (iOS or Android) and wait for the RainMachine Pro-8/16 to be listed on DEVICES screen. It should have the "setup" label next to its name. Tap on it and continue setup.
5. Connect Pro-8/16 to local Wi-Fi network: Next, a list of Wi-Fi network available at the RainMachine Pro-8/16 location will be listed. Look for your local Wi-Fi network name and select it. Enter the local Wi-Fi network password (if any) and then wait for the RainMachine Mini-8 and the phone/tablet to connect both to the local Wi-Fi network.
6. Done: If successful, the RainMachine Pro-8/16 Setup AP network will close and the Mini-8 device will be connected to your local Wi-Fi network and will be accessible by the phone/tablet connected to the same local Wi-Fi network using the RainMachine mobile app.

RainMachine Touch HD-12/16

To connect your RainMachine Touch HD-12/16 to Wi-Fi, you can follow these general steps:

1. Power On the RainMachine: Plug in your RainMachine Touch HD-12/16 and ensure it is powered on.
2. Check the USB Wi-Fi adapter: Make sure that the USB Wi-Fi adapter is correctly inserted and
3. Connect Touch HD-12/16 to local Wi-Fi network: Tap on "Settings" button from the RainMachine Touch HD-12/16 touch screen and select the "System" card. After that select "Wi-Fi" card and wait for the local Wi-Fi networks available to be listed on the screen. Look for your local Wi-Fi network name and tap on it. Enter its password using the on-screen keyboard and save it. Wait for the connection to be successful.
4. Done: The RainMachine Touch HD-12/16 device will be connected to your local Wi-Fi network and will be accessible by the phone/tablet connected to the same local Wi-Fi network using the RainMachine mobile app.
