The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA; pronounced /ˈnoʊ.ə/, like "Noah") is an American scientific agency within the United States Department of Commerce focused on the conditions of the oceans and the atmosphere. NOAA warns of dangerous weather, charts seas, guides the use and protection of ocean and coastal resources, and conducts research to improve understanding and stewardship of the environment.
Advanced climate modeling running on huge data-centers processes this information to deliver the most accurate weather forecasts on Earth. RainMachine connects via WIFI and downloads the latest weather data every 6 hours, making it available for you to use in your garden.
The National Digital Forecast Database’s (NDFD) high-resolution digital weather forecast provides you with the ultimate in location precision and data forecast accuracy, based on 1.5 miles spatial resolution.
