RainMachine Pro Quick Setup

 WiFi Setup

  1. Wire the RainMachine according to the provided diagram and power it up.
  2. Install RainMachine mobile app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  3. Using your phone, go to Settings / Wi-Fi and connect to the RainMachine network. Launch the RainMachine mobile application and select RainMachine from the Devices list in order to continue the setup. Select the desired WiFi network and insert the password. (The phone and the RainMachine must use the same WiFi network)
  4. Give a name to your RainMachine, insert a password and press Save. The default password is “admin” .
  5. Turn On Location services so that the RainMachine can have your location. You can also manually insert the location.
  6. Setup is finished!

The setup steps are described on the LocalUI.
There is no need to press Next on each step made on the mobile phone.

 

Ethernet Setup

  1. Wire the RainMachine according to the provided diagram and power it up.
  2. Install RainMachine mobile app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  3. Insert the Ethernet cable. Wait until you see the WiFi Led is ON.
  4. Launch the RainMachine mobile application and select RainMachine from the Devices list in order to continue the setup.
  5. Give a name to your RainMachine, insert a password and press Save. The default password is “admin” .
  6. Turn On Location services so that the RainMachine can have your location. You can also manually insert the location.
  7. Setup is finished!

Cases

Set up on Ethernet and want to change to WiFi

  1. Remove the Ethernet cable
  2. Press on the WiFi button from the local UI, go to Settings and press Change/Reset.
  3. Using your phone, go to Settings / Wi-Fi and connect to the RainMachine network. Launch the RainMachine mobile application and select RainMachine from the Devices list in order to continue the setup.
  4. Now you should have accessed the RainMachine. Go to Settings/System Settings/ Wi-Fi Settings. Select the desired WiFi network and insert a password.

 

Unit Set up on Wifi and want to change to Ethernet

  1. Steps 3-7 from the Ethernet setup.
