Fire Sprinkler

In addition to using the Rainmachine to control irrigation, I am wondering if it would be possible to use it to manually turn on exterior fire sprinklers from a remote location. Here in the California foothills, when a fire starts, one of the first things they do is close the roads to incoming traffic. That means, unless you are already home, you can't turn of your manual fire sprinklers.

  Very good idea to use the RainMachine for the fire sprinklers, too. I don't see why not.
  I think it all comes to the valves electrical requirement of your exterior fire sprinklers.

  Reading this RainMachine knowledge base article you can find out about the valve types that RainMachine supports.
