Add BUGS/ISSUES section to Community
ImplementedA section for us to post bugs & issues would be a good idea I believe. Responses would be even better!

Adding to Chris's experience:
I recently connected up my Rainmachine Mini-8 V2 from Amazon but I’m having a number of issues with the software applications. First and foremost, I was expecting the Mini-8 to control the watering but it refused to initiate any watering despite the days being warm and dry. I discovered that I had inadvertently turned the watering “on” for about 18 hours whilst setting up the device (about a week ago). But, there was no way to reset the excess water to zero, so I made a copy of the Default program which I read would reset the excess water. Well that didn’t work did it!
So, I had to manually turn on the controller every day which I presume only added to the excess water (which was showing 0% on the Dashboard by the way!). I was just about at the point of doing a factory default and starting again from scratch, when I saw the Reset to Defaults in the IOS app (this doesn’t appear to be an option in the Web app?). Just when I thought I could breathe easy, a Reboot saw the problem re-appear again! Luckily, I don’t have any more hair to tear out! Not only that, the Web app was showing units as “US” while the IOS app was showing “metric” and this was reflected in the numbers on the Dashboard (different for IOS and Web apps). C’mon, this shouldn’t be happening!
I tried “Reset to Default” again but this time I forced a “Save” by doing a dummy change to the program name (changed one character and then changed it back to what it was). Ok, now the defaults seem to be reset on both IOS and Web apps but that didn’t fix the “units” problem.
Another problem: I tried to edit the Demo program just to see how it was setup. When I returned to my Default program, the Zone images from the Demo program had somehow been transferred over to my Default program! Hmmm... Not a big problem but still shouldn't be happening.
I understand that Rainmachine developers are working hard to resolve these issues but first and foremost, the machine must control the watering accurately and reliably with robust options for resetting/setting watering parameters across the apps. There’s no point in adding in more fancy options unless the controller is doing the job it was meant to do. I hope the developers can provide some good news soon.
Cheers
