Moving Irratrol sensor from RainBird to Mini8

    Ed,

    The 2 wires that power the rain sensor can connect to the 2 wires the power the RainMachine. 
    Here is a diagram for the other 2 wires.

    Thanks for the info.  So, do I twist the 2 power wires together and insert where your diagram shows a black wire?  Same question for the 2 sensor wires: do they get twisted together and inserted into just the one blue wire location in the diagram?

    I'm also looking for a description on how the rain sensor interacts with the Mini-8 under various scenarios.  Is there documentation somewhere you can point me to?  Like, will the sensor stop a running program, or does it just prevent a program from starting if it's raining, etc?

    Hi Ed,

    On current firmware version the RainSensor stops all scheduled watering if it detects rain even if a program is running. No programs can start if the rain sensor detects rain.

    Note: Manual watering will not be stopped by rain sensor.

    Also next firmware will have more customization options for Rain Sensor (like scheduling a Snooze for a certain period).
