Suggested duration discrepancy

I just added my first program, and I'm confused about the suggested durations.

When I first went in to configure the zones, I get something like this that looks reasonable:

Suggested daily summer watering time: 11min 25sec

But then when I enable that zone in a program, I get this, which seems crazy long:

Suggested: 45min 40sec

Why the discrepancy?

Then there the graph for the program that just shows "23%" on the next watering day... 23% of what? There's no indication anywhere as to what this graph is about.

  In the  zone screen the suggested time is *daily* EPA Suggested Time.

  In the programs screen this zone time will be multiplied depending on frequency but can be reduced by using the +/- percentage controls.

  On Home screen program graphs 23% is the percentage from your total program time.

  Ok, I think that makes sense... so the fact that I can only water one day a week is making it do 7 X [daily amount] for each zone? Does the 23% then get applied to that total to account for weather (heat/rain)?

  I was just worried that it was going to try running for ~15 hours...
