Backwards Water Scheduling Timing
I have a mini-8. I want to schedule twice a week (M, Th). It looks backwards to see how many days since the last watering to figure out how long to run the program for. That doesn't make sense to me. The controller should water for the number of days until the next future watering day.
To make sure I understood things correct, I made a silly watering program. I would have it water twice a week, on Friday and Saturday. I would expect the Friday watering would put out enough water to last until the next day Saturday, and that Saturday would put out enough water to cover the next 6 days. But the mini-8 web page shows the opposite. Friday is scheduled to water for 3 hours and 33 minutes, while Saturday is scheduled to water only 35 minutes.
Do I not understand something? Or does the firmware need to be updated?

Hi, Robert
Sorry for this late reply.
Your program is set to water first on Friday and then on Saturday. Watering times should cover until the next Friday comes up for 5 days of no watering (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), so on the next available starting day (Friday) will have to water more to cover for them. Next day, Saturday will water less because it only passed 24 hours since the last run. These two days combined should cover the rest until next Friday comes and the cycle repeats.
Hope this answer your question, Robert
Thank you
