When using suggested *daily* duration, depending on number of days between runs this number will be increased or decreased with <interval> * <suggested duration>.

Now the clients (web ui and mobile) aren't making a great job of explaining the runs duration, they simulate starting from Monday to next selected day.

In the next update we will explain this better and show for each day that you selected the duration. For example if you select Mon, Wed, Sun, instead of current single duration

it will show Mon: 20m, Wed: 40m, Sun 10m

P.S. This is only true when using suggested duration, for custom duration the timer that you set wll always be obeyed no mater what days will be selected.

I think I understand the issue with item 1 a little better.

On item 2, it appears that I will never see any water saved, since the scheduled amount is the suggested water duration for one day. Another thing that makes it confusing is on the UI, the scheduled water is 291 minutes, the watered is 429 minutes, but in viewing the watering time in the program, it shows 9 hours and 43 minutes.

As additional information on the second item, the only change I made in the program was to set the custom water time equal to what the water time was for the suggested water time and I started saving water.

I believe that when the suggested water is being used, that the scheduled water for the day should be as you indicate in item 1 and not the "raw" suggested time.

No.  There is definitely a bug in the software.  I see the same thing with the total run time doubling the suggesting run time for each zone depending on which day the program is scheduled.

We are only allowed to water one day a week.  My day is Wednesday.  When I set up the program and use the suggested time for each zone, the total watering time (for each zone and for the total zones) is double what it should be.  If I change the day to Tuesday, it shows the correct (suggested) watering time.  This has nothing to do with intervals between days or whatever you were trying to explain.  My program is only one day a week.

But there is no way I'm letting my sprinkler run for 4.5 hours next Wednesday, so I can't trust or use the suggested times.

There is an issue with Web UI which computes the multiplier from Monday to next watering run. This is corrected and will be available in the upcoming update.

As for suggested duration, if you look at your zones, the suggested is described as: "Suggested daily summer watering time" so according to EPA you must apply this amount every day.

When you have a single day instead of 7 days, this "suggested" duration is multiplied by 6.

If you intend to use the suggested times, the parameters from zones must be close to reality especially the Sprinkler Head precipitation rate, which can be seen/customized is you

    select custom sprinkler head.

As an example to figure out the multiplier for selected days I'm attaching a screenshot from the next version of web ui. In this example Zone 1 uses suggested duration

and zone 2 a custom and fixed duration.

The *zone* suggested daily duration is 9min 45sec this will be increased by the number of past days that it doesn't water.

What about the other issue that when the suggested daily duration is used and watering is done every other day, that the water saved feature does not use the multiplier?
