Problems saving Zones and Programs from the iOS app
I bought this HD-12 unit because of the remote access. I have the remote access enabled and verified, full WiFi bars on both the and the iPhone, but the iOS app does not save settings reliably, weakening my confidence in the unit.
1) Sometimes the Zone Save seems to get stuck with a rotating cursor forever. I can click Back and then Save again, which "seems" to work. But when I go to the Zone on the device, the Save has not actually worked.
2) I started a program with the iOS app and spent a lot of time getting it right. When I went to save it, it tried to save for 30 minutes without success. Finally, I had to cancel. When I checked on the device - no program at all. :-(
3) I started a program again using the iOS app, saving at every step. Zone 1 saved correctly. Zone 2 and 3 claimed to save, but did not show up on the device.
I have opened a support ticket, but this unreliable operation is very troubling and I may have to return the unit. It doesn't make sense to verify every setting on the device. That defeats the point of remote access.

Hi, Kevin
Thank you for contacting us on support.
It looks like on our side everything went normally using the App Store RainMachine iOS app and we managed to change zones and programs remotely.
Your Wi-Fi connectivity setup is 2.4ghz for RainMachine and 5ghz for your iPhone. We do recommend when locally to use the same Wi-Fi network signal radio for both RainMachine and mobile device.
Anyway, we are investigating this issue and waiting for your input after you set it all up.
Thank you for your patience, Kevin
