Fractional Day Intervals
Here's a feature request I've long thought about but never seen offered in any water timer.
I would like to set up a water program that would allow any number of cycles that would repeat over a period of several weeks, keeping the cycles on only certain days of the week.
For example, let's say i want to water approximately every 10 days, starting on Sunday, then Thursday of the following week, and then on Sunday of the following week. This would be an interval of 10.5 days (21 day period divided by 2 watering cycles).
Currently, if I just set up a program to water every 10 days, it will start on Sunday, then will water on Thursday of the following week, then on Saturday of the following week, and so on, wandering into new days of the week every succeeding cycle. It will always be hard to know what day of the week it will water.
Sometimes it is desirable to know what days a program will water and to keep it on certain days of the week only (for example, I like to always water on Mondays because I cut the grass on Sundays when the lawn is dry) or because of daily watering restrictions, etc.
Some useful fractional day intervals would include:
3 watering cycles over 14 days (every 4.666667 days)
5 watering cycles over 14 days (every 2.8 days)
2 water cycles over 21 days (every 10.5 days)
4 water cycles over 21 days (every 5.25 days)
This feature would give users flexibility to set any number of watering cycles over a recurring period of a few weeks while still keeping the programs on certain days of the week only.. Currently users can only set up a repeating program by setting specific days of the week over a one week period, but this is limiting.
Thanks for considering. If anyone can do it, RainMachine can!

I meant by "fractional days" just a day interval between cycles that is not a round number, so that the program would repeat itself over a period of 2 or 3 weeks and stay on fixed days. For example, if want to water 3 cycles over 14 days, it would start on a Sunday, then 4.6667 days later it would water on Thursday, then 4.667 days later water on Tuesday, then 4.667 days water on Sunday (completing a 14 day cycles), and then keep repeating this 14 day cycle staying on these days without wandering onto different days of week. Thanks.
