RM running day after an inch of rainfall
The RM mixer only forecast .13 inches but then in terms of actual rain, the mixer recognized that we received over an inch.
YET, my garden program, which runs every 3 days, is set to run tomorrow (normal soil settings, etc.), albeit at a reduced percentage. Other programs I have set up are not running, but the garden program seems to not recognize that the rain occurred (when I look at the graph around field capacity, it doesn't show the rain). Seems buggy to me, as the normal runs for the garden all put down half an inch or less every 3 days (i.e., much less than the rainfall).
Is it a bug in rain machine using the forecast instead of the actual rainfall?

Hi Joe,
The RainMachine should auto correct, actual rain is always registered for "yesterday" if you have a historical weather service like WUnderground.
This actual rain will get taken into account to next simulation or watering.
As a rule of thumb: RainMachine waters for the future using forecast data and corrects by looking in the past using actual measurements (or better forecasts for that day).
The better forecasts means for example if you have a program to start at 10AM and weather service has a noticeable change after the program has run, it will correct at next watering.

Jurek — you can modify the WU parser to remove forecast data and upload to the unit as a user supplied parser. But that’s complicated for most — I’d like to see RM have the option to only use station data as an option for WU built in to the default WU parser. In the interim, I did modify the existing to do what you describe. If you go that route, copy and paste the parser on the unit and not the Git repository as git is not up to date with current version.
