  This is in testing. For now WPA3 on RainMachine Pro fails tests with iOS so it doesn't look good.

  What does iOS have to do with it? It's for connecting the RainMachine to a WPA3 AP / wifi router. The initial setup where a mobile device connects to the RainMachine to configure it can happen with WPA2 or even no encryption at all, it doesn't need to use WPA3.
