Pro 8 won't join wifi network

I've used this thing for two seasons previously with no issues, and now it won't connect to my home network, so I can't control it through my phone or the web interface.

I did a factory reset, delted and re-installed the app on my phone, reset my router, and I can't get through the setup.

The device appears under the "My Rainmachines" list, but it appears and disappears ever few seconds, even when I'm standing right next to it and connected to the setup network it creates. I get an error message thats says "Could not join (null). Please restart setup" I fell like the wifi antenna in it broke?

The firmware version on the device is 4.0.1152. I don't know if that's the latest, but I can't get connected to the internet to update it.
