iPhone crashes when I select Rainmachine in Homekit

Hello, I have an HD-12 rain machine and an iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 14.5.1

If I swipe down from top right of screen to access Control Center, and click on the Rain Machine - it will crash iOS.  A spinning wheel appears and then it goes back to lock screen.

I've tried rebooting the rainmachine, rebooting phone - neither works.   Any tips on how to fix this?

  Hi,
  We replicate the issue on our iPhone aswell.
  It looks like we will have to investigate this.
  Please rely on Apple Home app to control your RainMachine through HomeKit commands.

  I'm still seeing this crash in iOS 14.8 - any idea if upgrading to iOS 15 helps?  Thanks!

  Yes. That it is not RainMachine related and updating to iOS 15 and up will fix this crash of the iOS springboard when you tap on the RainMachine accessory shortcut.
