iOS Push Notifications stopped working
Since about two days I no longer receiver push notifications on any of my iOS devices.
Is there known issue right now?

Hi,
There are no knowing issues.
Please access RainMachine iOS app - Settings - System Settings - Notifications and switch it OFF and then back ON.
Go to your Apple iOS device settings and search for the RainMachine mobile app. Make sure the Notifications are allowed.
If that didn't worked, open RainMachine iOS app and go to Accounts and remove your account from the app and then add it again using the "Sign in with RainMachine" option.Hope this will help.
Thank youJulian
RainMachine Support -
Hello Julian,
thanks for the suggestions!
I already tried switching the notification settings around in the app and the iOS settings, didn‘t work. Since they stopped coming on multiple devices at the same time, I suspect it is not a local settings issue.I the tried to remove and re-add the Account as you said. But now I‘m stuck on the „Verifying your account“ spinner everywhere 🤷♂️
Credentials are correct, I double checked and the device is reachable through the browser. But also the app even without an account set.

Intresting.
First of all make sure that your local Wi-Fi network doesn't block the 8000 port. Also, did you removed your account using the "Remove Account" option?
The notifications are linked to your RainMachine Remote Access email account and your RainMachine devicr should be validated with it.
Go to RainMachine iOS on one of your Apple devices and access your RainMachine device, then go to Settings - System Settings - Remote Access. Make sure that your email address is successfully validated with your device. If not, switch the Remote Access option OFF and then back ON.
Enter your email address and tap Add device.
Wait for the confirmation email message to arrive in your email INBOX (or SPAM) folder, open it and click on Confirm button.
If the RainMachine Cloud Servers can reach your RainMachine device, then the confirmation will be successful.
After that, use this rmail account to "Sign in with RainMachine" on all your Apple devices.Hope this will help.
Thank youJulian

Alright, I now have deleted the entire app and reinstalled it again.
When logging into the account, a message popped up that said, that no RainMachines where associated with my account.
I then went into the RainMachine system settings and added my mail again under remote access.Verification mail came and after clicking the link, the website gave me an error message to try again later but it now shows up as verified in the app.
However when now signing back in, I still get the message that no RainMachine is associated with my account.
I‘m not a Premium user, but I set up a direct access with a DNS.
I also can‘t sign-in to the webapp, that says „Unable to login. Have you confirmed your email address?“
But again, I‘m no Premium user, so maybe that‘s why. -
Ok, to clarify:
- the "Sign in" process takes place on the RainMachine device for security reasons. If the severs cannot reach your device to get the confirmation token it will return the error.
- this has nothing to do with the Premium Services subscription.
- "I also can‘t sign-in to the webapp, that says „Unable to login. Have you confirmed your email address?“ That's because the confirmation process is not complete because when you clicked on the email message "Confirm email address" button, the servers couldn't reach your RainMachine device. We checked your ch####@l###t.## email address and it looks OK on the server side for the RainMachine Pro device associated with it.
Please sign out from your Apple devices and sign in again. Check the Notifications settings after that.Hope it helps
Thank youJulian
