Sprinkler run time

I have to first say that this was the easiest controller to install and program!!! The question I have is that I set MAX summer watering amounts (say 14 minutes in a zone). The zone was ran this morning and showed 50% forecast.....Does that mean that it was only run 7 minutes based on the weather? Thanks in advance.

  Hi Steve,

  Yes, the RainMachine takes the time you set and multiplies it by the percentage water need calculated for that day. RainMachine gets weather data every 3 to 6 hours and recalculates as conditions change.

  yes, Steve, I agree - very easy to program :)

  The answer is yes, your zone was watering for 7 minutes, but this can be tricky from time to time because the weather data is fetched on time intervals that can be longer and that forecast could be after your zone was watering. To be sure I go an look for the watering log on Watering History tab under the Settings. I use mostly web interface for that.
