Winterization Function
I'm looking for a way to create a special "winterization" function that enables me to run a series of "on" cycles in repeat succession on the same zone, each with varying degree of delay between the "on" cycles, and to crawl through the zone applying the same cycle pattern.
Basically, I use a non-commercial air compressor to "blow out" the lines each fall (for the last 9 years), but the compressor isn't powerful enough to handle more than 30 seconds of blowing before it has to wait 90 seconds to refill the air tank for another run. After about 6 cycles per zone lines are clear enough for the impending freeze.
See my developer thread for more details.

I set up a simple "winterization" program with current RainMachine controller. you can sent up time delay between zones to give your compressor enough time to recover pressure. You can also use Cycle and Soak to effectively blow each zone multiple times. I have a smaller compressor and it works great. Fully automated blow out.

Thanks Jonathan Lotz, I took your suggestion and it worked great!
I connected my small compressor to an empty pool cartridge filter (about 55 gal) to pressurized enough air and I set 'delay between zones' to 20 minutes and Cycle to '3' and run time 1.5 min (30 sec for each cycle).
It took 12 hours for 12 zones but it worked.
However, next time I'll run it when I'm away so I don't have to listen a compressor noise all day long or will pay an irrigation guy with a diesel compressor $150 for 1 hour job.
