Lost notifications on iOS
Recently I’ve lost all notifications from my RainMachine. I’ve double checked my notifications settings in iOS and the app. Everything is on. And remote access is enabled. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, it did not. I've tried a number of possible fixes including:
1. Reset my rain machine 3 times. Notifications never returned.
2. Performed a factory reset, and restored recent saved program. Notifications never returned.
3. Re-confirmed by email remote access. Even though, I never lost remote access to my rain machine, I did this anyway. Notifications never returned.
In regards, to the "night mode" where you skip notifications that come at night. I would assume that you mean the "Do Not Disturb" option under the iOS settings. On my iPhone, I have used this for years for 10pm to 7am. However, three things:
1. This should not impact the delivery of notifications, as all other apps that I have deliver notifications during this period, but my iPhone remains silent when they are delivered.
2. For many days prior to about 3 weeks ago, I received notifications from RainMachine during the night, but like all of my other notifications they came in without my phone making a sound or vibrating, and I would see them in the morning to confirm my RainMachine watered the lawn.
3. Even if the "night mode" as you described it is impacting my notifications, then why wouldn't I receive notifications during the day. My weather updates at least a couple times during daylight hours, and I get NO notifications.
However, I will disable my scheduled "DO NOT DISTURB" on my iPhone for a few days, and I'll see, if the notifications return.

The night mode was implemented in our notification service and we will be adding an option to enable night delivery for those how know how to use "Do Not Disturb" mode.
We also changed Weather notification to only send notification if the weather has NOT been updated for at least 1 day.
Reseting RainMachine has no effect on Notification service, only redoing email remote access confirmation (which you already did) and completely reinstalling and deleting all application data for RainMachine app on iPhone.
Please try to do this and let me know, I'll ask someone from cloud dev team to look at your issue.

Nicholas,
Thanks for you quick reply. Can you clarify what you would like me to try? Are you recommending I delete the application on my iPhone, and then re-install? I'm not sure exactly what action I take to delete all application data? I assume deleting and re-installing will do this.
Also, what exactly is "night mode" in terms of time of day? I can try scheduling outside of the "night mode" time to see, if the notifications return.

Allright, given the feedback on the "night mode" NO notification feature in the current iOS release of RainMachine, I have confirmed that this appears to be reason why I don't receive notifications. In my situation, I have reclaimed water as the water source for my sprinkler system. Reclaimed water is highly regulated from my municipality. For example, it's not available during the day, and it generally shuts off during the morning hours when demand depletes available supply. So my schedule for water is always during the 23:00-06:00 time window. I've experimented by moving one of my programs outside the 23:00-6:00 night time window, and the notifications returned. However, the notifications that I used to receive on a regular basis during the day related to weather forecast being update, have become very sporadic, and I finally received one yesterday, when previously I would get them on a regular basis. When I check my device via the my.rainmachine.com web interface, it's very clear that the weather updates are occurring on a regular basis, but I don't get a notification in most cases, even during the day. The feedback that I received on the weather forecast not changing, leading to NO notification is somewhat questionable in my mind, since I believe my weather forecast is changing at least once a day.
In regards to NO notifications during the "night hours", I think this should be based on the users "DO NOT DISTURB" settings on their IOS device. In which case, if the user doesn't want to be disturbed by a "buzz" on their phone during the night, they should use this option to keep their phone quiet, and then in the morning they can query their notifications to determine whether watering occurred. In my case, this is important for me, since my reclaimed water supply goes through some unexpected down times, and changes to schedules as equipment goes down, or demand exceeds supply. If for example, my notifications indicate that water occurred during the night, but my lawn appears dry in the morning, I might want to re-schedule, or check with my municipality about supply.
Thank you for the support.....
