Is the iOS rain sensor notification going to be fixed?
FixedThis bug has been around a while, and I know its been brought up in the past.. On iOS if you have checked off to get a notification when the rain sensor is activated, you get the same notification once the sensor dries out and the restriction is lifted: "Rain Detected. The xxx rain sensor detected rain at xx:00 PM and stopped all watering activities"
Can you guys please fix this?

Hi, Rick
There are only two events the RainMachine reports for the Rain Sensor
- one is sent when the Rain Sensor detects rain - the switch is ON - RainMachine stops all watering activities
- the second one is sent when the Rain Sensor dries out and stopped detected rain - the switch is OFF - All watering activities will run as scheduled, but you can set a delay for that from under Rain Sensor settings.Hope this helps, Rick
Thank you,

Yes - but on iOS, under notifications, the only thing you can select is “Rain Sensor Detects Rain” — and if you have that selected, you will get a notification that it has sensed rain not only when it senses rain — but erroneously when the sensor has dried out and normal activities resume. I’m asking if it’s possible to a) fix the erroneous second notification and b) add a second notification option for “Rain sensor dry. Resuming operations”

Hi, Rick
You're right. We have a confusion here because of this notification includes 2 - one sent when rain is detected and one sent when the sensors dry out.
We will fix the naming in our future mobile app update.
Today we fixed the erroneous second notification and now it will notify correctly that the Rain Sensor has dried out and watering activities will continue as scheduled.
Thank you, Rick
