I had rainmachine HD-12 for some reason the screen will not time out what ever I set. thanks for respond.

  Make sure "keep screen on" is not checked on Display settings.

  I did uncheck keep screen on. I reset the unit still same problem. I think I had the deflect one. since I brought in February I can't return for exchange.

  Probably unit is not defective, just a matter of software configuration. Also the screen will be turned on when watering is active.

  I did uncheck keep screen on. let see what happen the next few days. there is a lot of rain and the rainmachine notification keep pop up.
