    Here is the scenario:

my landscaper prefers not to have my lawn watered on certain day, when they mow the lawn. If I place a day restriction which is global, then I also don't get to water my plant beds and vegetable boxes. So, I need to exclude them from my day restriction.

so, if one can assign a restriction to a program or zone, this issue can be addressed.

What if you create a special program just for your lawn and use *Selected Days* frequency to select in which days to run ? This will be a better approach since it will also take into account the necessities of water when program doesn't run because of mowing day.

I already do have two programs, but how will this work If I have set water every n days, , instead of picking individual days + weather adaptive watering enabled.

If I wanted to water only on fixed days like suggested, I could have stayed with my older controller, right ?

Yes, you are right for every N days you will need to have the day restriction for that program. Going to present your case to the team.

Also you could use "Selected days" + Adaptive Frequency this will make controller skip days in which irrigation won't fill plant root depth and add it to next cycle.

We are also pushing some additions on IFTTT that are waiting for approval by IFTTT. With new additions it will be possible to enable/disable a program depending on certain conditions like date & time. We realize that's not exactly what you want but it's something that will be available much sooner than future changes to restrictions.
