    I forwarded your issue to developers, not sure if they knew about this or they couldn't fix/test.

    Your issue is being investigated by one of the Android developers. His question is if you see the same behavior when you connect locally with IP from application or only when using remote access ?

    I have the same issue with my HD-12 and it doesn't matter if I use the app on my Pixel 2 or my Nexus 7. When I try to connect locally to turn on a zone, it is typically a several minute process. It tries to connect, I get the "downloading data from device message" that sits on the screen anywhere from 20 seconds to several minutes before sometimes connecting and sometimes timing out. If I do ever connect, and I put the device down  and pick it up again and turn on the screen, the connection is lost even though I haven't shut down the app. I have to back all the way out and restart the connecting process again, which may or may not work.

    I've only noticed the behavior this year, as last year I was able to kick off a zone via Google Home commands and IFTTT, but that functionality has been removed from my device.

    I'm really not happy with this product lately.

    By the way, often I can't even connect on Remote access, so I use direct IP which is the behavior I described above.

    Hi Jeff,

    I guess you have a 1st Gen HD12 ? Could it be a WIFI signal issue ? I just looked at our 1st Gen HD12 online and they load pretty fast (at least from my.rainmachine.com).

     

    P.S. We're looking into adding back IFTTT for 1st Gen devices.

    No, I have very strong wifi. No problems with any devices on wifi. I can get there quicker with the browser interface than the app on a mobile device. The app seems to hang and take forever.

    Try to reinstall the mobile app, is it Android or iOS ?
