This is missing in Web UI and mobile UI. The HD-12/16 local interface has this.

I would also like to see this incorporated into the mobile app. I am in a similar situation to RK and feel it would streamline the app greatly.

I also think this is a great idea, however, I sometimes use unused zones as custom delays when manually watering.

Also keep inactive zones from being discovered by Alexa.

    Hi, Sean
That's how it suppose to work. Alexa will discover all zones because you can manually start a zone, even if that zone is set as Inactive.
Alexa commands acts like a manual activity on your RainMachine device. So, you're the one in charge of starting/stopping activities.

    Thank you,

I would like to see an option for each zone (active or not) to:

    1) Hide/Display in UI

    2) Hide/Visible in external API (e.g., Alexa, Assistant...)

Just want to add that I agree, would be great to remove the unused / inactive zones from the app.

I fully support the ideas above. A checkbox in each zone to mark hide/display the zone. Should apply to all UI:s

Thanks for the feedback, this is already being worked on for the future update. It won't get in this next one since it's already in beta channel but in the following one.

So the release notes say it's in the Autumn 2019 update:

    Web interface

    - Show/Hide inactive zones

I can see a button in the web UI that looks like an eye with a line through it, but clicking it doesn't do anything?

    Hi, Matt
Yes, that’s the button and we just tested and it is working.
What browser version and operating system are you using?

    Thanks,

Wouldn't you know, now it's working. How odd. Thanks anyway Julian.

It's Chrome 77.0.3865.90 (Official Build) (64-bit) and Windows 10 if that's of any use to anyone.

    Ok, Matt
Your version of browser is supporter. I was thinking about an extension you may have installed that blocks the show/hide inactive zones effect.
Anyway, glad it all sorted out.

    Thank you,
