Hardware rain sensor on/off per program
I am using a Rainbird rain sensor successfully with my HD-12.
But one of my programs is to run misters inside my greenhouse. This is not outside in the rain and therefore neither the rain sensor nor the weather prediction have a bearing on the watering requirement.
I am able to run the misters for a fixed time and switch off adaptive watering within the program/zone, but I can't switch off the rain sensor, which shuts down watering for all programs/zones.
I would like a switch in a program "Use rain sensor" or similar to turn this function off for a specific program.
This would then make the RainMachine emulate the basic functionality of a non-smart system, such as a timer tap.
I know that RainMachine believe that their system does not require a rain sensor, but ni my experience the rain sensor is critical to prevent over-watering. A weather prediction can only get you so far.
Cheers.

I too must rely on an onsite rain sensor. Here in SW Florida, my neighbor can get a downpour and not a drop for me. In the rainy season, every day has at least 75% chance of rain, but yet it might be weeks before my piece of land receives one drop. Shoot, before when I hand watered, I could start watering and see storm clouds building up around me and a couple drops hit me, so I stop watering and go inside only to have the storm, blow over, change directions, or fade away.
I also have zones that are inside a greenhouse and still need to be watered. It seems odd for a "smart" system to not be able to allow or disable rain delay per zone.
