Wifi connection restoration
We run an HD-16 connected to a cell hot-spot powered by a solar panel system obviously in an area remote from the user. Once a week or so remote connectivity is lost. This morning I drove to the site and as usual the wifi signal was fine and the wrench icon was blinking, brought up status on the unit and it said wifi-ok and weather-failed. I then went to settings wifi and it confirmed connected and the remote connectivity was restored. So I am not sure what I did to cause the re-connection and more importantly if the problem was caused by some unexplained temporary wifi drop out shouldn't the RM re-connect automatically when it restored?

Hi, Larry
A disconnection from your Wi-Fi could be the reason why the RainMachine Wi-Fi wrench was blinking.
Indeed, a reconnect should take place when the Wi-Fi signal was restored and that did not happen. We will investigate this on our side.
Until then, please go to the RainMachine Touch HD-16 and tap on "Settings - System - Display", lower all the way down the "Screen Brightness" and check the option to "Always keep screen on but dim it after 2 minutes". This will keep the RainMachine wi-fi service always active.
Thank you,
RainMachine Support
