Rain Machine install at my rental

I know the answer to this is probably "no", but you never know for sure if you don't ask, right?

I would love to install a Rain Machine at my rental, but I'm very hesitant to ask the tenants for the SSID and password for their WiFi.  Is there another way?

  It requires Internet access.  You would either need to get Internet installed there so service it or use a mobile (cellular) hotspot if you don't want to use their Internet service.
