Loss of WiFi seems to induce 100% per schedule, but reports no water used on dashboard

Ours keeps dropping the 2G WiFi (even though we have a good signal in the garage).  When this happened recently, it did a full cycle in the yard today, using tons of water, and we had 5.75" of rain a few days ago.  The RainMachine app dashboard says no water used, yet I was standing in the front yard watching runoff.  What a waste of water...

Why does the 2G WiFi connection not automatically reconnect?  It always works when I hit the "connect" button.  I can provide signal strength if needed.

  Please send a picture from Settings > System > Network tools. Even with no WIFI it should still have some previously downloaded forecast data. Also try to use 'Always keep screen on but dim it after 2 minutes' setting from Settings > System > Display to see if it helps with reconnect issue.

  Also when RainMachine starts or stops a valve it automatically writes to a log, we haven't seen RainMachine irrigate and not saving the correct duration.
