I am a little confused by the default Program settings and what it's basing it's run times off of. If infrequent deep watering is what is best for establishing deep roots, then why is the default Program set to run daily for short times? Are the recommended run times for each zone based on applying 1" of water per 7 days? Some of my zones are popup sprayers and they were defaulted to run ~10 minutes per day. When i set the program to run 2-3 times per week then their total water times seem to be more on par with what I was doing with my previous controller.
