I emailed support two weeks ago - no reply. I then called last week and they told me my problem would be fixed with a software patch update. Not yet - I called again yesterday and support seemed more interested in helping.
I installed this along with my new watering system last August. A month ago I took the HD16 out of pause and made it operational - just to test functionality of the complete system. Living in the North East, we have had a lot of rain this spring so I paused the system again for two weeks (which would have ended about two weeks ago).
Heres the problem. Approximately two weeks ago when I removed the pause to let the system run on its own - the phone app (android) displayed information under the first, third and fourth icon - not the watering can icon which let me see the individual zones that help me check individual zone functionality- just a moving dashed line band across the middle of the screen. In addition, it loses internet connection often and must be powered down and restarted to automatically reconnect. As of this morning - it is completely down once again with no remote connection at all. I'm guessing it needs to be physically restarted once again. Also - it has not automatically watered once in the past two plus weeks
At this time, I'm speechless as to the reliability and functionality of this system. I had this operational for two months late summer 2018 with full functionality.
Either provide a new one that is functional or fix the interface problem this week. This unit is basically a switch and timer that operates solenoids on a given schedule - not to complicated. I will be contacting Sprinkler Warehouse today to let them know the ridiculous status of this controller. I NEED THIS OPERATIONAL!!!!
