How can we help?

Observed Rain has data from Wunderground, but Rainmixer doesn't reflect it

We will probably need more logs from Settings > About > View Logs. What setting do you have for RAIN Sensitivity ? Do you have more that 1 station in WUnderground ? Could you tell us what STATIONID you use ?

Rain Sensitivity is currently set to 80%.
I do have 4 stations setup for Wunderground. My primary station is KTXPFLUG22, and my back up stations are KTXPFLU150, KTXPFLUG151, KTXPFLUG119.

Here is a link to the logs. I tried pasting them directly in here, but my post doesn't show up (not sure if it went to moderation, or if it's just kicking it out for being too long...).

Warning, there is a lot of Autocycle logging. I've turned off the "Finish By" feature at this point, so those disappear about halfway through the log. You'll also see some custom logging from the modified Wunderground-Beta parser I was using (only modification was logging, I wanted to see the URLs it was using). I saw the rainfall issue with both the Beta parser and the current production one in the latest firmware.

I also noticed that the Mixer picked up yesterday's rainfall properly:

Just a follow up on this. The Mixer is now showing zero rainfall for days that the Mixer previously indicated rainfall data (Jun 26, see screenshot from previous post). Also seeing the same issue on the Temp tab...now reporting 32F for days where it previously had the temp data.

The precipitation chart for Monthly on the Home page is also showing "No Data" for days where it previously had data.

I guess the question at this point, is whether this is just a data reporting anomaly and not affecting the watering schedule, or if it is indeed actual affecting watering. We are just now getting into the season where I am finally using the irrigation system (we had a lot of rainfall this spring), and this is my first year with RainMachine, so I'm not quite familiar with its patterns yet.

It would be great if you could go to Setting > About > Upload diagnostics so we can look over your data. We haven't tested with more than 1 backup station, it should work but worth investigating.

While you probably have the latest update please make sure you do.

Just looked over at our test machines: WUnderground and RainMachine Mixer are overlapping, which is correct since WUnderground is the only one that provides an entry for Observed RAIN. Your graphs show something like a "mix" between multiple values. I'd leave just 2 stations and maybe even change the top one to another to check if problem persists.
