Water Surplus

I have my system set to water every day and it never goes off.  Each morning, I get a notification stating that the program did not start because of a "water surplus".  We have had a few days of rain here and there but this is the notification I get every single morning.  The only time I am able to water is if I run the system manually, which defeats the purpose of having this system.  Anybody have a similar issue and able to help?

  This is usually solved like this:

   

  1. Check the RAIN/QPF reported inches ? Do they look correct or is too much ( like +/- 50% difference) ? If it's too much reduce your Rain Sensitivity from Settings > Weather

  2. If RAIN/QPF is aproximatelly good, then your Field Capacity/Soil type might not be correct. To solve this you can go to each zone and choose a soil with smaller Field Capacity or reduce the Field Capacity using the + - buttons next to its value.

  You can do all this using the Web UI by going to either your RainMachine local network IP or to https://my.rainmachine.com
