Now that we are getting rain I find that the WU information for rainfall is not accurate, even though my reporting station is just 1/2 mile away, this is compared to my onsight rain gauge.. Seems to me that a manual input for actual rainfall would certainly remove a lot of misinformation that is currently being processed by the controllers when using data tjat is derived from remote sites.
