Scheduled rebooting for all rainmachines.
Gathering FeedbackAndroid needs reboots at times for whatever reasons. When it needs a reboot, it almost always looses connection. Can't rely on it. Therefore, I request automatic scheduled reboots at a user's preferred frequency. My other devices (NVR, etc) all allow for this as a maintenance reboot. This is the last IOT device I have lacking this feature. Please add it. I see that others have also requested the feature. Thank you for considering this post.

Don't seem like many are commenting. Shame, because many would benefit. The most common errors are all resolved with rebooting. With this feature, one can greatly reduce worries of issues when away from home. This is the last device I have without that feature. My wireless routers all have it as well. As for your questions/concerns: Yes HD 16-that's what I own:
1) People should realize not to do that.
2) If you wish to protect them from themselves, then the coding will be harder. Ultimately, if investing the time coding it, disallow times which would overlap the pre-calculated times which are required for the watering schedules. (OR)
3) I'd simply not bother: I'd allow the reboot to supersede all programs and their watering would be off by an entire 1 minute (or less depending on the exact boot up time) assuming the rain machine already saves watering status in case of power failures (if not, then consider that as a feature request as well). This is probably far easier to code (although I'm not sure because I am not a programmer). However, you can see my point about working hard to protect people from themselves.....
A properly set feature of this type should reduce customer issues by a significant fraction.
