    Hi,

We have an update for this in the next stable release:

    https://github.com/sprinkler/rainmachine-developer-resources/files/4818272/netatmo-parser.txt

Until then you can try the  file from the link by using Web UI > Settings > Weather > Add New to upload it.

After upload it should show up in User Uploaded services. Configure, specify your modules and check useSpecifiedModules.

This version will allow to retrieve data from multiple devices modules.

    Feedback would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    thanks for the update.

I installed the parser. It seems to work almost ok.

Only following modules from my two Netatmo locations show up.

    They are:

Location 1: Rain and Wind, but no outside temperature module!

Location 2: Only rain as no wind module is installed, also no outside temperature module!

Shouldn‘t the temperature module also Show up?

Location 1 is where my RainMachine is installed.

Under specific modules I entered the mac adress of the rain and wind modules separated by a comma (no spaces) and ticked the usespecifiedmodules box. Is this correct?

Maybe you should check the outside module?

    Regards

    Marcus

Yes you put them separated by  comma. Also the outside module should appear maybe it's not named 'outdoor' (this is what our parser look for in module type)

    Thanks,
but for example my rain module shows up in available modules and it is named „Home Regen“ as i am in Germany. The wind module is named „Home Wind“ and my other location is named „Schenna Regen“ and both show up.

The outdoor module is named „Home Terrasse“ and does not show up.

I have no explanation for this, maybe the parser should look for something else as the name of a module can be anything.

    Regards
    Marcus

Actually what I referred as module name was actually a module type, maybe I can send you a private support ticket if you can share your login details so we can directly investigate. Hopefully it's not something like a unicode issue.

I renamed the outdoor module „Home Terrasse“ to „Home Outdoor“ thereafter it shows up in available modules. So it seems to be a name issue and not a module type issue

This update will fix checking for Outdoor modules types: https://github.com/sprinkler/rainmachine-developer-resources/files/4836122/netatmo-parser.txt

    Hi Nicholas,

I have just bought a Rainmachine Pro 16 and I wanted to setup the link to my Netatmo. I seem to be facing the same issue, so I tried using your second file, but unfortunately it still seems to fail to get any data. These are the messages in the logs, if there is anything else I can do to help you diagnose the issue, please feel free to let me know. ( FYI, I am a software developer, mainly C# and Javascript, unfortunately Python is not a language I use )

    Cheers,

    Chris

Looks like netatmo service detects your modules but the response from server doesn't have data. Could you turn on DEBUG logs from System Settings > Log Level  (from Web UI) and hit REFRESH NOW on NetAtmo Service and then View Logs again ? The logs now should actually have the URLs from where the data was retrieved which you can run in your browser.

Kindly share the output of the URLs so we can check.

When will the above linked netatmo-parser.txt be integrated as the standard Netatmo Weather service?

I presently use that file as a user uploaded service but this user uploades service regularly disappears from my weather services and has to be uploaded again.

So it is not really reliable.

Any idea what causes the user upload to vanish?
