iPhone app crashes on setup
just got my new rainmachine pro-8. Excitement tempered after 1 hour of attempting to setup. Either via Wifi or wired, app instantly crashes. Can't even get to setup.

Vivek, get on the phone with Tech Support and ask for Brandon. I have been struggling with this since Saturday, and I agree that the setup algorithm, the app stability, and the way the interface gets established are a mess - and I work in a high tech field with network based stuff all day! My problems are not solved yet, but I at least did make some progress with Brandon at the other end of the line. You may have a better result. Just be prepared to reset, reboot, reinstall, ad nauseam until something winds up working. Good luck.
And oh, don’t even try to set this up via WiFi if you have a hidden SSID. The SW will never get past setup if you have a hidden SSID. One of the most basic things a WiFi based system should be able to do, and it can’t do it.
